Tapartó Waterfalls
About this adventure
The Tapartó Waterfalls are 3 mighty cascades born in the forests of the Farallones de Citará, in the village of Tapartó, municipality of Andes.
We walk along a flat road beside the Tapartó river, enjoying coffee plants, lots of birds, farms decorated with beautiful flowers and the huge mountains of the Farallones de Citará nature reserve. It's only 7 km to our destination: ice-cold waterfalls pouring down with all their force, a true natural spectacle.
Average temperature in Tapartó: 26 °C. Mild climate.
Technical info (on a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the hardest):
First part of the trail: level 2 (7 km of dirt road, no shade, gentle climb)
Last part: level 4, a 75° climb and descent through forest for 1.2 km (optional, to reach the last waterfall)
Your booking is confirmed once you pay at least half of the hike's price.
