A COP 300,000 deposit holds your spot. At least COP 1,500,000 must be paid two months before the trip to secure flights (after that, if you cancel for a valid reason, refunds follow the airlines' policies). Full payment is due 2 weeks before the trip.
Itinerary
- Day 1 · Flight Medellín – Bogotá – Inírida, transfer to the El Venado community and traditional lunch; safety talk, sunset circuit to Mavicure, dinner and rest
- Day 2 · 4:30 a.m. hike up Mavicure hill to watch the sunrise over the Inírida river; breakfast and a morning in the reddish waters of Caño San Joaquín
- Day 2 · Afternoon in the El Venado community: ancestral culture and learning about bitter cassava; dinner under a sky full of stars
- Day 3 · 5:30 a.m. walk around Cerro El Mono to see the Mono and Pajarito hills; weaving workshop with our hosts and lunch
- Day 3 · Back to Inírida, visiting the La Ceiba community (honey harvesting) and spotting river dolphins; dinner
- Day 4 · Trip to the Atabapo river and the Fluvial Star: beaches that appear when the river drops and ancient rock formations; start of the journey home
