About this adventure
Very close to Bello's main park we can enjoy a medium-level hike to the amazing Chorrolato waterfall, an imposing cascade that adorns the mountains.
A steep climb gradually takes us to its cold water and a beautiful view over the northern Aburrá Valley.

Hike level: 3.0 (on a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being very hard)
Distance: 7 km round trip

Itinerary
- 7:00 a.m. · Meet at Bello metro station
- Transfer to the trailhead
- Climb to Chorrolato waterfall and time in the water
- Descent and return (7 km round trip)

→ Requirements and gear
- Shoes with good grip
- Comfortable hiking clothes; we recommend long sleeves so branches don't scratch your arms
- Rain gear in case it rains (ideally a waterproof jacket)
- Plenty of water
- Lunch and snacks for the route
- Sunscreen and a cap
- Trekking poles if you have and need them, to ease the impact on your knees
- Come unhurried and ready to walk and share
