Ecuador and the Blacks and Whites Carnival
Quito, Cotopaxi, Otavalo y Pasto · Moderate
About this adventure
We wondered: what if we went to the famous Blacks and Whites Carnival at its liveliest, but first enjoyed the beauty of our Ecuadorian neighbors?
So we planned a trip starting at the Middle of the World in Ecuador, seeing the great snow-capped Cotopaxi volcano, the stunning Quilotoa crater lake and the crafts of Otavalo, then visiting the wonderful Las Lajas sanctuary and ending in Pasto just in time for the float parade.
A complete trip to kick off 2027 in style!
