About this adventure
We're back in 2026 for this wonderful journey through Peru, and this time we've improved the plan: we added places we missed last time and one more night, so there's time to do everything and still have free time to explore.
Our adventure starts in Lima and heads south in a half-circle up to Cusco, where we fly back from.
Prices may vary depending on the final cost of flights.
Meals not included: 3 breakfasts, 8 lunches and 12 dinners. Average prices: breakfast 12–15 soles, lunch 15–35 soles, dinner 12–35 soles. Estimated total spend: 300 to 705 soles (1 sol ≈ COP 1,200).
Itinerary
- Arrival in Lima and accommodation in Miraflores. Visit to Lima’s Historic Center.
- Travel to Ica and Paracas. Boat tour to see penguins, dolphins, and sea lions. Pisco tasting tour and desert tour in Huacachina.
- Free time to explore the dunes again. Transfer to Nazca.
- Overland tour of the Nazca Lines. Overnight transfer to Cusco.
- Handicraft day. Visit San Pedro Market and explore some of Cusco’s historic churches.
- Excursion to Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca).
- ATV tour through the Sacred Valley. Train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
- Visit Machu Picchu. Return by train and continue to Cusco.
- Excursion to the 7 Lakes of Ausangate. Flight back to Medellín.

- Clothes for cold and heat: we'll be on beaches and in the desert, and in mountains above 4,000 m
