Quitasol to San Pedro Trek

Bello – San Pedro de los Milagros, Antioquia · Hard

About this adventure

We return to the beautiful Cerro Quitasol, a mountain full of history and energy, once home to ancient communities that gave life to the Aburrá Valley. It's one of the most iconic guardian peaks of our valley.

On this route we'll walk ancient stone paths, climbing little by little while enjoying beautiful views of the Aburrá Valley. Up high we'll stop to rest at the old site where the native people farmed, lived and worshipped the sun.

Then we'll take the last stretch to the summit of Cerro Quitasol (2,880 m), with a spectacular view of the whole valley.

After resting at the top, we'll head to San Pedro along a rural road, a calm way to close the day. From there a bus will take us to the Terminal del Norte to return to Medellín.
